Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023 - the sixth edition of the tournament - is all set to begin on Sunday, September 24 and will continue till October 22.
A highly competitive kabaddi tournament, Yuva Kabaddi Series (YKS) aims to unearth some of the best up-and-coming talents from across the country.
The upcoming monsoon edition of YKS will see exhilarating competition as more than 300 players from 16 states compete in 132 high-octane matches. As many as 16 teams will be taking part in in Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023.
These teams are Aravalli Arrows, Himalayan Tahrs, Sindh Sonics, Kaziranga Rhinos, Hampi Heroes, Chambal Challengers, Maurya Mavericks, Panchala Pride, Tadoba Tigers, Maratha Marvels, Palani Tuskers, Periyar Panthers, Chola Veerans, Murthal Magnets, Vijayanagara Veers and Nilgiri Knights.
All teams will compete against each other in a six-round schedule which will witness the bottom-ranked teams dropping out before the commencement of a new round.
The six rounds that will feature in Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023 are the Challenger Round, Promotion Round, Relegation Round, Survival Round, Booster Round, and Summit Round.
Palani Tuskers are the defending Yuva Kabaddi Series champions having won the previous edition of the tournament and they will be eyeing a successful title defence in the upcoming season.
All matches in Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023 will take place at the Fatima College Indoor Stadium in Madurai.
