The right corner defender is expected to form a potent combination alongside Mohammadreza Chiyaneh at the far left corner and play a decisive role in pinning down the raider. Neeraj has a not out percentage of 78 across 41 Pro Kabaddi matches and is a reliable option in defence. At 13 credits, Neeraj Kumar is a great budget pick for this match.
Top tip: Best all-rounder
Amongst the all-rounders, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh will be the best option. The Iranian scored seven defensive points in the last game against U.P. Yoddha and pinned star raider Pardeep Narwal down on more than two instances. The Patna Pirates’ defender is amongst the top defenders of the season already and will be a major threat to the Puneri Paltan tonight.
