The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 Player Auction will be held in Mumbai on August 15-16. The Pro Kabaddi Season 11 Player Auction will start from 7 PM onwards on Day 1.

Organised by Mashal Sports, the Pro Kabaddi Season 11 Player Auction will feature a diverse pool of players, including domestic talents, overseas players, and new young players (NYPs). 

As per the PKL 2024 auction rules, the domestic and overseas players will be divided into four categories at the PKL Season 11 Player Auction: Category A, B, C and D. 

These players will be further split as ‘All-Rounders’, ‘Defenders’ and ‘Raiders’ within each category. 

The base price for Category A players will be set at INR 30 lakh, while Category B players will have a base price of INR 20 lakh. Category C and D players will have base prices of INR 13 lakh and INR 9 lakh, respectively.

The Pro Kabaddi Season 11 Player Pool auction will consist of over 500 hopefuls,  including the 24 players from the two finalist teams of the Khelo India University Games 2024.

Each franchise had an initial purse of INR 5 crore to build their PKL Season 11 squad and every team will head into the PKL 2024 auction with their remaining purse after the retention of their key players from previous season.

A total of 88 players have been retained across three categories with 22 from the Elite Retained Players (ERP) category, 26 in the Retained Young Players (RYP) category and 40 in the Existing New Young Players (ENYP) category.
