Day 2 auction saw Pardeep Narwal break the record for the most expensive player ever in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League

Day 2 of the Pro Kabaddi 2021 auction saw players up for grabs from the overseas category and Category A domestic players.
First, the players from the overseas category went under the hammer. Iranian Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh became the most expensive player to be signed from the overseas category.
Later the Category A domestic players were in action where Pardeep Narwal broke the record for the most expensive player ever in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. Pardeep was bought by UP Yoddha for a whopping INR 1.65 crores.

Right then, here we are at the end of a riveting day of Pro Kabaddi player auction. As expected the Category A domestic players created a stir with Pardeep Narwal's record-breaking price of ₹1.65 crores the highlight of the day.
At the end of Day 2 player auction, UP Yoddha look like a formidable side already. Puneri Paltan and Tamil Thalaivas too had a decent day with some key signings. However with a day still left, it will be interesting to see what the final squads look like.
