Dabang Delhi’s Naveen Kumar etched his name in history books when he broke star raider Pardeep Narwal’s record of eight consecutive Super 10s in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).
The 19-year-old raider is the first player born in the 2000s to feature in PKL and has been making waves with his immaculate performances in the seventh season.
Interestingly, Naveen achieved this feat in an encounter against Patna Pirates when Delhi outwitted Patna by a narrow margin of 38-35. Delhi's Naveen brought up his ninth consecutive Super 10 of the tournament, thereby breaking the record of eight, set by Patna's 'Dubki-King' Pardeep in PKL season five.

Naveen also became the fastest player to reach 300 points in the league as Delhi found themselves at the top of the table. Due to Naveen’s record ninth-straight Super 10, Delhi managed to end their home leg with a 100% win record in the ongoing season.
Naveen has emerged as one of the most prolific raiders since his arrival in the previous season and has been giving stiff competition to Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Pardeep for the top spot in every other match. As we move towards the latter half of the season, Naveen’s performances will surely play an instrumental role in defining Delhi’s chances at glory for the first time in the tournament.
