The Kabaddi events at the 2023 Asian Games commenced on October 2 and will conclude on October 7 in Hangzhou, China. These competitions feature nine men's national teams and seven women's national teams, all vying for the coveted gold medal in their respective events.

In the men's kabaddi format for the Asian Games 2023, the nine participating teams have been divided into two groups, and each match will last for a duration of 45 minutes. Group A comprises India, Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei, Japan, and Thailand, while Group B includes Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, and South Korea.

The women's kabaddi competition at the Asian Games 2023 also involves seven teams split into two groups, with matches lasting 35 minutes. Group A consists of India, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, and Thailand, while Group B is made up of Bangladesh, Nepal, and Iran.

In both the men's and women's events, each team will play the other teams in their respective groups once, following a round-robin format.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The two winners in the semi-finals will compete for gold in the final of the kabaddi events, while both losing semi-finalists will bag the bronze medal.

Kabaddi at Asian Games 2023 will be held at the Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre in Hangzhou.

Iran is the defending champion in both the men's and women's kabaddi competitions at the Asian Games, having secured gold in both events during the 2018 Asian Games.

Meanwhile, India's kabaddi teams have a storied history at the Asian Games, with the men's team winning gold seven times and the women's team achieving victory twice.

With that in mind, let’s have a look at the Asian Games Kabaddi standings and points table, as well as the match results and scores.
