A High 5 in kabaddi is registered by a player when they score five or more tackle points in a single match.
Jaipur Pink Panthers’ left corner defender Ankush Ashok topped the list of most High 5s in PKL 9, with nine in 24 matches.
Ankush Ashok has been the standout performer for the Pink Panthers as he also tops the list of players with the most tackle points in Pro Kabaddi Season 9.
Inaugural edition winners Jaipur Pink Panthers were among the first teams to qualify for the playoffs of PKL Season 9.
Telugu Titans’ Parvesh Bhainswal and Patna Pirates all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh were the closest challengers to Ankush, with six High 5s each.
Chiyaneh scripted history earlier this season when he put on a show against Dabang Delhi, amassing 16 tackle points in that match to become the player with the most tackle points in a single PKL match in the competition’s history.
Chiyaneh also amassed the most tackle points (89) and the most High 5s (10) in Season 8.
Unfortunately, Parvesh Bhainswal’s efforts went in vain as Telugu Titans’ poor form all season long meant they finished bottom of the table.
Tamil Thalaivas' Sagar, Haryana Steelers’ Jaideep Dahiya and Bengal Warriors’ Girish Maruti Ernak also feature in the list of Most High 5s in PKL Season 9.
