Draws for the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 round of 16 matches will be held on Monday, December 13 in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw will be telecast live at 4:30 PM IST.
The UCL round of 16 matches will be played over two legs, with seeded teams (group winners) playing the second leg tie at home.
The 16 teams in the fray for the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 round of 16 draw will not face any club from the same national association or a side they met during the group stage this season.
The UEFA Champions League 2021-22 round of 16 will begin its first-leg schedule from February 15, 2022 while the second leg will be played in March 2022.
With the away goals rule abolished ahead of the 2021-22 season, two teams with a tied aggregate score over two legs will play two 15-minute periods of extra time at the end of the second leg. If the score remains the same, the tie will go into a penalty shoot-out.
