Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 season will kick off with Besiktas playing host to Sporting while Manchester City will travel to Belgium to play Club Brugge on Tuesday, October 19. Both matches will start at 10:15 PM IST.
Real Madrid are slated to play Shakhtar Donetsk in the early hours of Wednesday and the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Inter, Ajax and Porto will also be in action at the same time.
PSG are set to play host to RB Leipzig, Liverpool will travel to Spain to play Atletico Madrid, Inter are set to entertain Sheriff while Ajax and Porto will take on Dortmund and AC Milan at home respectively.
Wednesday night’s action will feature the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Chelsea, all of whom have somewhat easy fixtures ahead of them. However, Manchester United face a challenging test against Italian outfit Atalanta at home.
After two rounds of fixtures, only Liverpool, Ajax, Dortmund, Sheriff, Bayern and Juventus have a perfect record. It might change for some teams this week as Liverpool are playing away from home while it will be a test of resilience for Sheriff against Inter. The Ajax versus Dortmund clash also promises to be another intriguing tie.
