Fourteen-time champions of Europe Real Madrid are slated to begin their 2023 pre-season tour against AC Milan in the United States on Sunday, July 23.
After a slightly underwhelming La Liga campaign last year that only saw them win the Copa del Rey, Real Madrid will be eager to have a strong pre-season in their bid to hit the ground running in La Liga 2023-24.
They will be eager to rejuvenate their aging squad and close the margin to Spanish champions Barcelona.
A lot has changed for Los Blancos since the end of last season as Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard, and Mariano Diaz have all left the club.
However, the likes of Fran Garcia, Joselu, and Jude Bellingham have joined the squad and will be hoping to enjoy a good pre-season with the Spanish heavyweights.
Just like last year, Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos will be travelling to the United States for their pre-season tour.
Thus far, Real Madrid have four matches lined up as part of their US tour and all of these games will be against European giants.
They will kickstart their pre-season tour against Italian heavyweight AC Milan on Sunday, July 23 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
Los Blancos will then square off against English giants Manchester United three days later in Houston.
However, perhaps the most intriguing fixture of their 2023 pre-season tour will be against their arch-rivals Barcelona in an El Clasico in Texas.
After their clash against Barca, Real Madrid will wrap up their pre-season tour in America following their clash against Juventus on Wednesday, August 2.
Apart from their new signings, their more experienced players like Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kross, Luka Modric, Vinicius Junior, Eduardo Camavinga, and Thibaut Courtois.
