Napoli (NAP) will host an out-of-form Juventus (JUV) in their matchday three meeting of the 2021/22 Serie A season at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday, September 11. The game will kick off at 9:30 PM IST.
The Bianconeri have failed to find the right footing this term since Cristiano Ronaldo departed for Manchester United, drawing and losing their opening games of the campaign to sit 12th on the points table. Napoli, coached by Luciano Spalletti, have won their first two fixtures and have a healthy goal difference to look forward to (four goals scored, one goal conceded).
NAP vs JUV Dream11 Prediction
Both Napoli and Juventus will enter the contest with some key players out due to their participation in the recently-concluded World Cup qualifying fixtures, meaning there is no definite winner at this point. Massimiliano Allegri has lost just two of his last 10 meetings with Napoli as a Juventus coach and will be eager to orchestrate a change in fortunes for the Old Lady on Saturday.
NAP vs JUV Dream11 tips for Serie A
Top tip: Best forward
Napoli's Matteo Politano starts as the top-rated forward for the NAP vs JUV clash in Serie A 2021. The 28-year-old Italian, a summer arrival from champions Inter Milan, opened his account with an assist in the 2-1 win at Genoa and is backed to build upon his tally of 57 fantasy football points with a commanding display against Juventus. Juventus' Paulo Dybala was initially identified as the top-choice but the Argentine is set to miss the fixture due to lack of match fitness.
Top tip: Best midfielder
The core set of Juventus' engine room - Aaron Ramsey, Rodrigo Bentancur and Arthur - will be out of the fixture leaving Allegri to field a makeshift midfield lineup. Manuel Locatelli, a defensive midfielder, will be tasked with stopping the likes of Fabian Ruiz and Lorenzo Insigne from making forward dashes to score goals. Locatelli has played just 25 minutes for the Bianconeri but could be put out to play his first 90 minutes in a Juventus shirt on Saturday.
Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper
Whether it is defensive attributes or his blistering runs down the flank, wing-back Juan Cuadrado is one undroppable player for Juventus in any Serie A fixture. The Colombian has registered 120 fantasy football points so far, and is well-placed to put on a match-winning display along the right flank against Napoli.
When it comes to goalkeepers, Wojciech Szczesny is the first-choice pick. The Juventus custodian has failed to keep a clean sheet so far, but judging by his fantasy football points tally (46) and ownership record (71.47 per cent), it is quite clear that the 31-year-old Poland goalkeeper is tipped to perform better between the sticks than Napoli's David Ospina.
NAP vs JUV probable playing XI
NAP predicted XI (4-3-3): David Ospina; Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Kostas Manolas, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marco Rui; Fabian Ruiz, Andre-Frank Anguissa, Eljif Elmas; Matteo Politano, Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens.
JUV predicted XI (3-5-2): Wojceich Szczesny; Giorgio Chiellini, Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci; Mattia De Sciglio, Adrien Rabiot, Manuel Locatelli, Luca Pellegrini, Federico Bernadeschi; Alvaro Morata, Dejan Kulusevski.
