MCFC vs JFC Dream11 team tips for Indian Super League 2021-22
Top tip: Best forward
Last season's golden boot winner Igor Angulo has continued to impress in the ongoing edition of the ISL. The veteran Spanish forward has netted four goals in as many matches for Mumbai City, with one assist so far. Having accumulated 281 fantasy points this season, Angulo is a must-have in any fantasy football team.
Top tip: Best midfielder
Jamshedpur FC stunned ATK Mohun Bagan 2-1 on Monday courtesy Alexandre Lima’s match-winning goal in the 84th minute. With his ability to control the game’s tempo in midfield, the 32-year-old Brazilian has been a standout player for Jamshedpur in ISL 8. Alexandre Lima is expected to play a pivotal role in helping JFC achieve maximum points from the Mumbai match.
Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper
Mumbai City FC captain Mourtada Fall has been the undisputed star of the Mumbai City backline this season. The Senegalese has forged a formidable partnership with India international Rahul Bheke, with the Mumbai defence nearly impenetrable. In addition to making four tackles, six interceptions, and nine clearances for MCFC, Fall has two goals to his name. He will seek to keep a clean sheet against Jamshedpur on Thursday.
Rehenesh TP of Jamshedpur FC will be busier between the sticks than Mumbai’s Mohammad Nawaz. Having made six saves in his four matches so far, Rehenesh will be in the firing line against Igor Angulo and Bipin Singh and will be under pressure to make some crucial saves. In this way, the JFC custodian will have the opportunity to earn more fantasy points through his saves.
