The Premier League announced its fixture list for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday and Manchester United will be involved in the opening game of the new campaign when they face Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday, August 16.
United, in fact, will be starting their new season at home for the eighth consecutive time - more than any other team in league history.
After finishing eighth last season with 60 points from 38 games, United will be eager to have a better campaign this time around and will hope to beat Fulham as they eye kick starting their season on a positive note.
Apart from Fulham, United are also scheduled to play two more league games in August against Brighton away and then against arch-rivals Liverpool at home.
They are slated to play three league games in September as well with two away fixtures against Southampton and Crystal besides also hosting Tottenham Hotspur at home.
Similarly the month of October will also see them playing a couple of away games against Aston Villa and West Ham, while Brentford will travel to Old Trafford for a home fixture for United.
November will see United in league action on four occasions, including a mouth-watering contest against Chelsea at the start of the month.
Meanwhile, December will be the busiest month for United in terms of league games played. They are slated to play six games, including action-packed encounters against Arsenal and then Manchester City in the Manchester derby.
Manchester United will also begin the New Year with a high-octane home game against arch-rivals Liverpool on January 4. The Red Devils will be involved in league action on four occasions in January.
February will see United in league action four times, while March will see them play two Premier League games, including a clash against Arsenal.
April has five Premier League games lined up for United with the second Manchester derby of the season slated to take place on the 5th.
United will conclude the season with four league matches in May with their final two games of the season taking place against Chelsea away and then against Aston Villa at home.
