Marlon Ritter and Almamy Touré netted a goal each to help Kaiserslautern register a 2-0 victory over Saarbrucken in their DFB-Pokal 2023-24 semi-final clash.
Interestingly, Kaiserslautern have previously won the DFB-Pokal on two occasions in 1990 and 1996, while Bayer 04 Leverkusen have clinched the German Cup once in 1993.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are the most successful team in DFB-Pokal history with a record 20 titles.
Going by recent form, Bayer Leverkusen will start as overwhelming favourites against Kaiserslautern in the DFB-Pokal final on Saturday.
