Under head coach Didier Deschamps, France have made a perfect start to their UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers campaign so far. Les Bleus are currently unbeaten in Group B, having won their first four matches.
France started their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a 4-0 win over the Netherlands at the Stade de France, before beating the Republic of Ireland 1-0 at their home.
They continued their impressive form as Didier Deschamps’ men beat Gibraltar 3-0 and followed it up with another 1-0 victory over Greece in June.
With 12 points from four matches, France are at the top of the Group B standings, six points more than second-placed Greece.
On the other hand, the Republic of Ireland national football team will head into the fixture after defeating Gibraltar 3-0 in their last outing.
The Stephen Kenny-coached Ireland earlier went down to France and Greece in their first two fixtures of the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers campaign.
Having registered one win and two losses, Ireland are placed third in Group B with three points from as many matches.
The likes of Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, Randal Kolo Muani, Eduardo Camavinga, Jules Koundé, Dayot Upamecano, William Saliba and Théo Hernandez are expected to feature for France.
Meanwhile, the visitors will miss the services of several of their star players including rising star Evan Ferguson, Seamus Coleman, Michael Obafemi and Matt Doherty.
Luton Town winger Chiedozie Ogbene and Norwich City’s Adam Idah could play a key role for Ireland in Paris.
