The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 will start on November 10 and conclude on December 2 in Indonesia.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup is a biennial international men's youth football tournament contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
For the first time, Indonesia will host a FIFA tournament and it will also be the first time that the FIFA U-17 World Cup will be hosted in Southeast Asia.
As many as 24 teams will compete in a total of 52 matches for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 title.
As per the format, the 24 teams have been divided into six groups of four teams each. Each team will play the other side in their group once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams will advance to the round of 16.
The knockout rounds also include four quarter-finals, two semi-finals, a third-place playoff and the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 final.
Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Manahan Stadium, Jakarta International Stadium and Jalak Harupat Stadium are the four selected venues to host FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 matches.
Brazil are the defending champions of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, having defeated Mexico 2-1 in the 2019 final. Nigeria are the most successful team in the tournament’s history with five titles.
Meanwhile, the FIFA U-17 World Cup returns after four long years as the 2021 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Live streaming of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 will be available on the FanCode app and website in India.
There will be no live telecast of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 on any TV channel in India.
