Chelsea take on Liverpool in the FA Cup 2021-22 final on Saturday, May 14 at the iconic Wembley Stadium. The match will start at 9:15 PM IST.
The two teams, who have already contested the 2021-22 League Cup final in February, will go head-to-head for the fourth time this season. Interestingly, each of their three matches ended on level terms in regulation time.
Furthermore, it is only the second time that the same two teams will contest both the FA Cup as well as the League Cup final in the same season. It was in the 1992-93 campaign when it last happened. Back then, Arsenal defeated Sheffield Wednesday in both finals.

Chelsea vs Liverpool recent form
Chelsea have been extremely inconsistent of late. Although the Blues are coming on the back of a 3-0 win over Leeds United, they have won just two of their last six matches. During this time, they have lost to Arsenal and Everton while drawing against Manchester United and Wolves.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have been their usual self. Barring the recent 1-1 draw against Tottenham, they haven’t lost a game since the 0-1 defeat to Inter in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 in early March. Since then, they have won 12 of their 15 games.

Chelsea vs Liverpool head-to-head
Since their first-ever meeting in December 1907, Chelsea and Liverpool have played a total of 191 matches across all competitions in the past. Of those outings, Liverpool have won 83 matches while Chelsea have come out on top on 65 occasions. As many as 43 games have been drawn.
Taking only the FA Cup matches into consideration, the two teams have crossed paths 11 times in the competition. Surprisingly, Chelsea have won seven of those 11 matches while losing on just four occasions.
Chelsea vs Liverpool prediction and football betting tips for FA Cup 2021-22 final
Given the form Liverpool are in, it comes as no surprise that the Reds are the odds on favourites to win the title. Sure Chelsea have been rather successful in at least avoiding defeats this season, but the fact that Liverpool are still chasing a quadruple could really lift them up on Saturday.
