England will start as one of the favourites to win the UEFA Euro 2020 as The Three Lions will look to end their international title drought that goes back to 1966 when they won the FIFA World Cup on home soil.
Under the tutelage of Gareth Southgate, England breezed through the qualifying stage, winning seven of their eight games and scoring 37 goals to seal a place in the finals.
Harry Kane and his men are placed in Group D alongside 2018 FIFA World Cup finalists Croatia, old rivals Scotland and Czech Republic.
Meanwhile, a few days after Southgate announced his 26-man squad for the upcoming European Championships, England suffered a massive blow as their star right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was ruled out of the tournament with a thigh injury.
However, the England head coach will not name a replacement for Alexander-Arnold until after Sunday's final warm-up game with Romania.

SWOT Analysis of England Euro 2020 squad
Strength
England boast of a star-studded squad that will look to claim their maiden UEFA European Championship. With the likes of Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling in their ranks, their attacking options are in plenty. England head coach Gareth Southgate will have issues selecting his front line as he is spoilt for choices.
They will also hope Harry Kane can continue his incredible run after he scored 23 goals and assisted 14 times in the Premier League 2020-21 season.
Weaknesses
The Three Lions lack a world-class goalkeeper in their 26-man squad. Everton’s Jordan Pickford is expected to be the number one goalkeeper for England ahead of Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson and West Brom’s Sam Johnstone. While all the three shot-stoppers are promising, they are yet to prove their mettle at the biggest events.
In the centre-back positions, England have Harry Maguire, Conor Coady, John Stones and Tyrone Mings to select from. Maguire missed the last four league games of the season and the UEFA Europa League final following an ankle ligament damage. Such injury concerns could be England's Achilles heel.

With the semi-finals and final to be played at Wembley, the England football team will have an incredible opportunity to emulate the Boys of 66 by lifting a major international trophy for the first time in over five decades.
Furthermore, the England squad is brimming with world-class talent at almost every position and it is just the perfect time to claim their first Euro title.
Threat
England have scored a whopping 37 goals in eight UEFA European Championship qualifying matches this campaign. With the kind creativity in their midfield ranks along with the attacking prowess in the forward line, The Three Lions will look to continue their goalscoring form at Euro 2020.
