Czech Republic will lock horns with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Nations League 2022-23 League A at the Sinobo Stadium, Prague. The match is scheduled to start at 12:15 AM IST on Sunday, September 25.
Both the teams are vying for the top spot in Group 2 of UEFA Nations League A, which is currently held by Spain.

Portugal, on the other hand, have won six of the last 10 matches in all competitions. They started their UEFA Nations League campaign with a draw against Spain and followed up with convincing wins over Switzerland and Czech Republic.
However, they missed out on a chance to claim the top spot as they lost to Switzerland in the reverse fixture.
Ahead of this encounter, Czech Republic will bank on their strong goal-scoring record at home in the UEFA Nations League. Silhavy's side has scored in every home game since the tournament’s inception, a record that Portugal’s defence would be wary of.
