The Saudi Pro League is hailed as one of the best football leagues in Asia, with teams like Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Nassr regularly featuring in the AFC Champions League. Al Hilal are the most successful team in this competition as well, having won the AFC Champions League four times.
Since joining Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo bagged his first goal for the club against Al Fateh in a 2-2 draw after scoring from the spot in the dying moments of the match to rescue a point for his team.
Al Hilal are once again in the running for the league title this season, alongside other regular contenders Al Nassr, Al Shabab and Al Ittihad.
The ongoing season began on August 25, 2022 and the final Match Day of the Saudi Pro League 2022-23 will take place on May 31, 2023.
