The 62nd edition of CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as Copa Libertadores, kicked off on February 23, 2021, and will run until November 20. As things stand, the tournament has reached the second leg of the second stage of qualifiers.
The Copa Libertadores qualifiers were divided into three stages, with the first stage hosting six teams. For the second stage, as many as 16 teams were potted into eight ties (C1–C8). The three winners from the first stage were given a place in the second stage as well. The third stage, on the other hand, will feature eight teams, and the four winners from that round will find a place in the group stage of the illustrious competition.
The two-legged fixtures of the second stage kicked off on March 9, 2021, and the teams will now enter the pitch once again, between March 16-18 to play the second leg of the round.
