Bengaluru FC (BFC) will take on Odisha FC (OFC) in match 97 of Indian Super League 2021-22 at GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa on Monday, February 21. The match will start at 7:30 PM IST.
BFC vs OFC Dream11 prediction
BFC and OFC are coming off contrasting results in ISL 2021-22, and meet for the first time since November 2021. While Bengaluru sit sixth on the ISL 2021-22 standings with 23 points, Odisha have 22 points and lie in the seventh position.
BFC, on one hand, enter the fixture with back-to-back league defeats and enter their last few league games with the aim of closing on the three-point gap from the top four spots. While Bengaluru’s chances to make it through to the playoffs are slim, the Sunil Chhetri-led side will hope to avoid further losses.
OFC have six wins in ISL 2021-22, as many as Bengaluru, and take on BFC knowing a loss will effectively ruin their top four hopes. The Kino García-coached Juggernauts have a slight edge over BFC having won the reverse fixture 3-1 this season.
Bengaluru lead the head-to-head record in Indian Super League, having won five and lost three of the nine matches contested between the teams so far.
BFC vs OFC Dream11 team tips for Indian Super League 2021-22
Top tip: Best forward
Cleiton Silva has been the chief outlet of goals for Bengaluru FC in ISL 2021-22, with eight goals and three assists in 16 matches so far. The Brazilian forward has earned 736 fantasy points and is likely to consolidate the tally courtesy of a goal or an assist against Odisha.
Top tip: Best midfielder
Odisha FC’s Javi Hernandez is our recommendation for the midfielder spot. The Spaniard has orchestrated OFC’s attack this season, registering six goals and five assists in 17 games. With 827 fantasy points to his name, Hernandez is a proven match-winning player for fantasy players.
Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper
Among the defenders, it is a no-brainer to pick Naorem Roshan Singh in your fantasy football team. The BFC wing-back has been one of the key goal contributors, with six assists to his name besides his defending. After sitting out the last game, Naorem is expected to return to the starting XI and put out a strong performance that helps him add to his tally of 616 fantasy points.
For the goalkeeper spot, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu should be the preferred choice over OFC’s Kamaljit Singh. Sandhu has kept three clean sheets and made 33 saves in 15 matches this term, amassing 301 fantasy points in the process. Arshdeep, meanwhile, has kept just one clean sheet this term and will be tested heavily by BFC’s forwards.
