On the other hand, Astana will aim to return to winning ways after bagging just one point in their last three fixtures in the UEFA Conference League 2024-25.
Kazakh side Astana were held to a 1-1 draw against Portuguese outfit Vitória S.C. in their last UECL 2024-25 game at home.
Earlier, Astana pipped Backa Topola 1-0 in their UEFA Conference League 2024-25 opener but later succumbed to consecutive defeats against The New Saints (2-0) and Pafos (1-0).
With four points from four games, Astana are currently placed 23rd in the UEFA Conference League 2024-25 standings.
Led by manager Grigori Babayan, Astana earlier finished second in the Kazakhstan Premier League 2024 standings, one point behind title winners Kairat.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will miss the services of midfielder Cesare Casadei due to suspension after being sent off in their previous fixture against Heidenheim.
The likes of Cole Palmer, Wesley Fofana, Marcus Bettinelli, Romeo Lavia and Ben Chilwell are also ineligible after being excluded from the club's Conference League squad.
For Astana, all their players are well-rested after not playing a competitive game in two weeks.
