Al-Nassr FC will lock horns with arch-rivals Al-Hilal SFC in the Saudi Super Cup 2024 final to be played at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium in Abha, Saudi Arabia on August 17.

Organised by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the Saudi Super Cup is an annual super cup football match.
Founded in 2013, it started off as a two-team competition. Since 2022-23, the Saudi Super Cup has been contested by four teams - the winners and runners-up of the King Cup and Saudi Pro League.
Since Al-Hilal defeated Al-Nassr in both competitions, the other two spots in the Saudi Super Cup 2024 were handed to the league’s third and fourth-placed teams in Al-Ahli Saudi and Al-Taawoun.
Under manager Luis Castro, Al-Nassr defeated Al-Taawoun 2-0 in the Saudi Super Cup 2024 semi-final at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium to set-up another Riyadh derby.
Ayman Yahya opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the eighth minute before captain Cristiano Ronaldo netted in the 57th minute to guide them to a convincing victory in Abha.
On the other hand, Al-Hilal booked their place in the summit clash after they pipped Al-Ahli on penalties in their semi-final clash at the same venue on Tuesday.
Earlier, Roberto Firmino gave Al-Ahli the lead before Aleksandar Mitrović equalised for Al-Hilal in the 90th minute as the semi-final ended 1-1 in regulation time.
Al-Hilal are the defending champions of the Saudi Super Cup after defeating Al-Ittihad 4–1 in the 2023 final.
They are also the most successful team in the competition with four triumphs in 2015, 2018, 2021 and 2023. Al-Nassr have won the Saudi Super Cup twice in 2019 and 2020.
Al-Nassr vs Al-Hilal head-to-head
Al-Hilal have a dominant head-to-head record against Al-Nassr across all competitions, winning 40 of the 76 matches that they have played against each other so far. Al-Nassr have registered 18 victories while as many as 18 Riyadh derbies have ended in draws.
The last time these two sides met, Al-Hilal beat Al-Nassr on penalties (5-4) in the King Cup of Champions 2024 after the match ended 1-1 in regulation time at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah in May.
