Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr will welcome UAE’s Al-Ain to the Al-Awwal Stadium in Saudi Arabia for the second leg of their AFC Champions League 2023-24 quarter-final match on Monday.
The match will begin at 12:30 AM IST with Al Nassr looking to overturn a 0-1 aggregate lead from the first leg. Live streaming and telecast of AFC Champions League 2023-24 quarter-final match between Al-Nassr and Al-Ain will be available in India.
Under the tutelage of manager Luis Castro, Al-Nassr secured their place in the ACL 2023-24 knockouts after topping the Group E standings with 14 points from six matches. They then got the better of Al Feiha 3-0 in the round of the 16 to progress to the quarter-finals.
Led by their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr will have to their task cut out in their home leg as they look to turnaround a 0-1 deficit from the first leg.
Al-Nassr head into this match on the back of a 1-3 loss against Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League in their last outing.
Al-Ain, on the other hand, will be hoping to qualify for the semi-finals by consolidating on their 1-0 advantage from the first leg. Soufiane Rahimi was the goal-scorer for Al-Ain and he will once again be a big threat for the UAE-based outfit against Al-Nassr.
Furthermore, the Saudi giants will be without the likes of Talisca, Sultan, Aziz Behich, and Aymeric Laporte due to either injuries or suspensions.
Al-Nassr vs Al-Ain head-to-head
These two sides have squared off three times in the past in the AFC Champions League with Al-Ain leading Al-Nassr 2-1 in the head-to-head record between the teams.
The last time these two teams faced each other was in the first leg of the AFC Champions League 2023-24 round of 16 clash which Al-Ain won 1-0.
