India will meet Turkmenistan in their second Group D match of the AFC U-17 Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers at the Chonburi Stadium in Thailand on Friday.

The Turkmenistan vs India U-17 Asia Cup 2025 Qualifier match will start at 02:30 PM IST on Friday. Live streaming of the match will be available in India.

The Blue Colts began their Asia Cup 2025 Qualifier campaign in style with a 13-0 drubbing of Brunei in a Group D match on Wednesday.

India are currently on top of the Group D U-17 Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers points table with hosts Thailand and Turkmenistan, the other sides in the group, placed second and third, respectively.

India will meet hosts Thailand in their last group game at the same venue on Sunday, October 27.

The AFC U-17 Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers has a total of 42 teams split into 10 groups that will vie for the 15 spots available in the final of the age-group continental tournament. 

Saudi Arabia have already qualified for the U-17 Asia Cup 2025 on the virtue of being the hosts of the 16-team tournament.

Three groups will have five teams each with the remaining seven groups consisting of four sides. However, Group H will only have three teams after Lebanon withdrew from the Qualifiers. 

The teams will play once against all the opponents in the same group in a single round-robin format with the group toppers automatically qualifying for the final next year. Five of the best second-placed sides will also make the cut.

India have qualified for the AFC U-17 Asia Cup nine times with their best performances coming in 2002 and 2018 when the team reached the quarter-finals of the tournament.

There will not be any live telecast of the AFC U-17 Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers on any TV channels in India.
