Struijk's late goals spark Leeds United's victory over Sunderland

Leeds United fought hard to defeat Sunderland 2-1 at Elland Road on a cold night. The match started with the latter team leading the board when Wilson Isidor scored a great goal. He showed skill and speed, leaving Leeds' defence behind.
Despite trailing, Leeds didn’t give up. Coach Daniel Farke made key changes, bringing in Pascal Struijk as a substitute. He quickly made an impact, scoring two goals in the game's final minutes. His first goal came from a powerful header after a free-kick by Joe Rothwell. The second goal followed moments later, sealing the win for Leeds.
This victory put Leeds at the top of the Championship, two points ahead of Sheffield United. They’re now unbeaten in 15 league games.
Meanwhile, Sunderland struggled to hold their position and faced disappointment again. Coach Régis Le Bris acknowledged the need for improvement, especially in their defence.
