Spurs already have two potential replacements for Postecoglou
Tottenham Hotspur are having one of their worst campaigns in recent memory, as they are well outside the top half of the Premier League table. They were bounced out of the domestic cup competitions in a week, so their only chance of getting a trophy is in the UEFA Europa League.
Manager Ange Postecoglou was a big positive in his first year during the 2023-24 season. Though they were trophyless, the signs for improvement were there as they were competitive. New prospects for the job have popped up, headlined by Fulham’s Marco Silva and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola.
Postecoglou has struggled with Spurs
The players are getting overworked with Ange trying to use his high defensive line system paired with ultra-aggressive attacking football. They became arguably the most injured team in the 2024-25 season. Spurs fans want Ange’s system to work, but it has not produced the results.
