Napoli stays in title race after McTominay and Lukaku lead 3-0 win

Scott McTominay had a strong night as Napoli beat Empoli 3-0. He got the first goal with a low shot after a nice pass from Romelu Lukaku in the 18th minute.
Lukaku then made it 2-0 early in the next half. He hit a fast shot past the keeper — his 12th goal this season.
Just five minutes later, he helped again. He kicked the ball high into the goal area, and McTominay jumped to head it in. The ball hit the bar and went in. That made it 3-0.
McTominay almost scored a third goal, but his shot hit the post. He now has eight goals in the league this season—more than most of his former teammates. Only Bruno Fernandes has scored the same.
Napoli now sits three points behind Inter with six games to go. They still hope to win their second league title in three years.
