The Premier League 2020-21 season has almost reached the halfway stage, enthralling football fans with unexpected results and nail-biting matches.
As things stand, defending champions Liverpool and Manchester United are level on points at the top of the PL points table, however, Jurgen Klopp’s side holds the top spot due to a superior goal difference.
The matchweek 18 of the Premier League features some mouth-watering clashes, and here are the numbers that will help you ace it:
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Everton
Everton have had a decent start to their PL campaign this season winning nine of the 16 encounters so far. The Toffees are currently in seventh place with 29 points and are tied on points with Tottenham, Manchester City and Southampton. Carlo Ancelotti’s men are still very much in the mix for a Champions League spot.
On the other hand, Wolverhampton have struggled for results this season as Nuno Espírito Santo’s men are currently placed in the 13th spot with 22 points and a 6-4-7 record in PL 2020-21.
In the last five matches in the PL, Everton have won four of the five encounters while Wolves have secured just a solitary victory in the same number of matches.

On current form, Everton will clearly start as favourites when they take on the Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium in the small hours of Wednesday in India.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham
Fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur host London rivals Fulham in a rescheduled fixture in the early hours of Thursday in India. This fixture replaces the Aston Villa vs Tottenham game that has been postponed due to multiple positive coronavirus tests at Villa.
Spurs will look to take advantage of a fatigued Fulham, who are coming off the back of a gruelling 120 minutes in the FA Cup third round against QPR this past Saturday.
Tottenham are currently four points behind table-toppers Liverpool, with this being the game in hand for Jose Mourinho's side. Interestingly, Spurs have won just one game in their last five PL matches.

On the other hand, Scott Parker’s men are battling against relegation and are placed in 18th place with just 11 points from 15 games. The Cottagers have drawn their last four league games out of their last five encounters, and are currently just three points away from safety with a game in hand.
The firepower of Tottenham is expected to be too much for the Whites as Mourinho’s men are predicted to have a comfortable win.
Manchester City vs Brighton
Manchester City will take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, with an opportunity to move closer to Premier League leaders Liverpool.
City are currently four points behind the Reds, with two games in hand. After an ordinary start to the season, Pep Guardiola's men have pulled themselves back into title contention, and are now firmly in the mix.
The Citizens have been in great form recently winning three of their last five Premier League matches.

On the other hand, Brighton are currently 17th in the Premier League, with 14 points from 17 games. Fulham, who are one spot below them, have three points less but also have two games in hand.
The Seagulls have been in terrible form in their last five PL matches, managing just a solitary point in those encounters.
Guardiola’s men are expected to register an easy win against the struggling Brighton side.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
Arsenal will host Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners look to make it four Premier League wins in a row for the first time since October 2018.
Mikel Arteta’s men have finally hit a good run of form while Palace have struggled for consistency and are one point worse off than their London rivals.
In the Arsenal vs Crystal Palace head-to-head stats in the Premier League, the Gunners have been clearly the dominant team in the derby claiming 13 wins out of 22 matches while the Eagles have registered just three wins and six matches have ended in a stalemate.
