Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star forward Kylian Mbappe has been in the headlines ever since he decided to snub La Liga giants Real Madrid and extend his contract at Parc des Princes until 2025.
The 23-year-old French starlet is currently PSG’s second-highest goalscorer of all time, having netted 171 goals in 217 appearances since joining the club in the summer of 2017 from AS Monaco. Only Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani (200) has scored more goals for PSG than Mbappe.
Considered one of the best football players in the world, Mbappe is also among the world’s highest-paid athletes. The French international was ranked 35th on the Forbes list of the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2022. Mbappe earned a base salary of $28 million while he raked in $15 million through multiple endorsement deals.
