Reigning La Liga champions FC Barcelona will kickstart their pre-season 2023 against Serie A giants Juventus in the United States on Saturday, July 22.
Under the tutelage of manager Xavi, Barcelona will once again travel to the US for their pre-season tour just like last year.
The Blaugrana are scheduled to play a total of four games in their pre-season tour, all against European outfits.
As per the schedule, Barcelona will begin their pre-season 2023-24 against Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Xavi’s men will then travel south to lock horns with Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on July 26.
The highlight of the pre-season tour will be the much-awaited El Clasico against arch-rivals Real Madrid to be played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 29.
Barcelona will conclude their USA tour with a game against Serie A side AC Milan to be hosted at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 1.
The likes of Robert Lewandowski, Pedri, Gavi, Marc-André ter Stegen, Ronald Araújo, Ousmane Dembélé, Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha and Jules Koundé are some of the Barcelona stars who will feature in the upcoming pre-season tour in the US.
Ahead of the pre-season, the La Liga holders have roped in German midfielder İlkay Gündoğan on a free transfer from Premier League champions Manchester City.
The 32-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the option to stay for one more year.
Barcelona are also aiming to complete potential deals for Vitor Roque and Dani Parejo.
Meanwhile, midfielder Sergio Busquets, defender Jordi Alba and goalkeeper Arnau Tenas have left the club ahead of the new season. Sergino Dest, Clement Lenglet and Abde Ezzalzouli could also leave the club before the summer transfer window closes.
