One of the biggest events in esports, the Valorant Champions 2023 will start on August 6 and conclude on August 26 in Los Angeles, California in the United States.

The third edition of the Valorant Champions will see 16 teams compete for the coveted title. 

The Valorant Champions 2023 is the crowning event of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) for the Valorant 2023 competitive season.

The Valorant Champions 2023 will be hosted at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall for the majority of the tournament, and the top four teams on the final three days will compete at the Kia Forum.

Valorant Champions 2023 schedule and format

The Valorant Champions 2023 group stage will take place from August 6 to 13. As per the format, the 16 participating teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each and will be held in a double-elimination (GSL) format. Every game will be a best-of-three series.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Valorant Champions 2023 playoffs.

The Valorant Champions 2023 playoffs will kick off on August 16 and run till August 26. Every playoff game will be held in a double-elimination bracket.

The Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final will be played in a best-of-five series.

Valorant Champions 2023 prize pool

The Valorant Champions 2023 has a total prize pool of $2.25 million, breaking the record for the highest prize pool in the esports event.

The winner of the marquee esports event will be rewarded with a cash prize of $1 million. The second-placed and third-placed teams will receive $400,000 and $250,000, respectively.

The total prize pool for the Valorant world championship in the 2021 and 2022 editions was $1 million.
