The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will start on October 21 and will run till November 3.

Organised by cryptocurrency betting platform Thunderpick, as many as 16 top Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams will compete in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 grand finals will be staged offline at the LVL Dome Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will be staged in two phases - Group Stage and Playoffs.

As per the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 format, these 16 participating teams have been divided into four double-elimination format (GSL) groups.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 group stage will be held from October 21-25. All group matches will be staged in a best-of-three series.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 playoffs will be held in a single-elimination format from October 26 to November 3. All playoff matches will also be staged in a best-of-three series, except the grand final which will be played in a best-of-five series.

Thunderpick World Championship 2024 prize pool

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 has a total prize pool of 850,000 USD. The winner of the Counter-Strike 2 tournament will bag a cash prize of 500,000 USD.

The runner-up will get 150,000 USD while the third-placed team will receive 70,000 USD.
