The Game Awards 2024 dates, categories, nominees and watch live streaming

The Game Awards 2024, one of the most prestigious eSports award shows, will be held in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, December 12.

Established in 2014, The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony recognising the best performers in the video game industry.

The Game Awards 2024 nominees across 29 different categories have been announced as the event celebrates its 10th anniversary.

A global jury including more than 130 media publications and outlets voted to select the Game Awards 2024 nominees.

Meanwhile, The Game Awards 2024 will be staged at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Metaphor: ReFantazio are some of the contenders for the Game of the Year category.

Apart from Game of the Year, The Game Awards 2024 will recognise the top performers in categories such as Content Creator of the Year, Best eSports Game, Best eSports Athlete, Best eSports Team, Best Mobile Game, Best Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality and multiple other categories.
