One of the major Battlegrounds Mobile India tournaments, the Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 began on February 5 and will end on March 10 in India.
Hosted by leading eSports tournament organiser Skyesports, a total of 5000 slots were opened for open qualifiers.
The registration for the open qualifiers were completed through the discord channel of Skyesports.
Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 format
The Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 will be staged in four phases - open qualifiers, quarter-finals, semi-finals and grand finals.
As many as 32 teams participated in the quarter-finals starting February 11. As per the format, these teams were divided into two groups of 16 teams each.
The top nine teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 semi-finals will see 24 teams compete in a round-robin format from February 28 to March 3.
These semi-finalists will be divided into three groups of eight teams each. The top 16 teams will progress to the grand finals.
The Skyesports BGMI Champions Series 2024 grand finals will be a six-day affair from March 5 to 10. Each finalist will play a total of 30 matches, five matches each on every matchday.
The team finishing on top of the standings after all the matches will clinch the BGMI title.
