A free-to-play tactical first-person shooter game, Valorant is one of the most popular eSports titles in the world.

Developed and published by Riot Games, it was initially teased in October 2019 under the codename Project A before launching in its current guise known as Valorant.

The game draws inspiration from the Counter-Strike series and emulates key mechanics like the buy menu, spray patterns and movement-based inaccuracy.

One of the most intriguing aspects about the game for Valorant enthusiasts are its skins, which are basically cosmetic items that help you customise the appearance of your weapons as well as agents.

Skins in Valorant change the appearance of weapons and agents. Their price is based on design, animations and detail.

Skins can be bought with Valorant Points from the store, the Night.Market, or earned through Battle Passes and Agent Gear.

Some skins can be upgraded with Radianite Points to enhance their look and effects. Skins are grouped into categories by quality such as Select, Deluxe, Premium, Exclusive and Ultra. Each skin usually follows a theme that applies to 3 to 5 other weapons.

To keep players excited and yearning for more, Valorant releases new skin collections on a periodic basis. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming Singularity 2.0 Valorant skin collection.

Singularity 2.0 Valorant skin collection

The Singularity 2.0 Valorant skin collection is expected to go live on Friday, September 27. Vandal, Ghost and Butterfly Knife are the items in the Singularity 2.0 Collection.

The Butterfly Knife featured in the Singularity 2.0 collection is expected to be a standout premium item. Historically, knives in previous collections have been priced higher, suggesting that this one will likely follow suit.

The Singularity 2.0 collection is more compact than bundles like XERØFANG as it only features two weapons and a knife.

While the official price hasn't been confirmed yet, it's expected to be around 8,000 Valorant Points (VP). This estimate is based on similar bundles like XERØFANG, which was priced at 6,300 VP for a comparable set.

The Singularity 2.0 skins are likely to stand out with bold designs that blend classic black and purple tones with new colour schemes like gold and black-blue. The collection also features enhanced animations, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

The updated color schemes combined with enhanced animations makes for a more immersive and visually captivating gameplay experience. For fans of the original Singularity collection, this new version expands on its features while offering fresh and exciting updates.

In contrast, the original Singularity 1.0 collection offered three colour variations with individual skins priced at 2,175 VP each and the knife at 4,350 VP. That set included weapons like the Ares, Phantom, Spectre and Sheriff.

With its striking visuals and gameplay enhancements, the Singularity 2.0 collection is expected to be one of the most remarkable additions to VALORANT yet.
