The PUBG Global Championship 2023 is scheduled to start on November 18 and conclude on December 3 in Thailand’s capital city of Bangkok.
Organised by PUBG Corporation and VSPO, the PUBG Global Championship 2023 is the final event and the World Championship of the 2023 Competitive Season.
The world’s top 32 PUBG teams will compete in the S-Tier eSports tournament. These 32 teams have earned entry based on their overall 2023 performance at PGS1, PGS2, and a variety of other regional events.
PUBG Global Championship 2023 schedule and format
As per the PUBG Global Championship 2023 format, the 32 participating teams have been divided into two groups (Group A and Group B) of 16 teams each.
In the PGC 2023 Group Stage, each group will compete for two days with six matches played per day.
The top eight teams from each group will be placed in the Winners Bracket while the bottom eight teams from each group will be included in the Losers Bracket.
Meanwhile, the Bracket Stage of the PUBG Global Championship 2023 has been split into two - Losers Bracket and Winners Bracket.
In the Losers Stage, bottom eight teams from both the groups will compete. A total of 12 matches will be played across two days.
The top eight teams from this stage will advance to the Last Chance round while the other eight bottom-placed teams will be knocked out of the competition.
Just like Losers Bracket, the Winners Bracket will see 12 matches staged over two days.
The top eight teams will advance directly to the Grand Finals. The bottom eight teams will move to the Last Chance.
As many as 12 matches will be played across two days in the Last Chance. The top eight teams from this stage will move to the Grand Finals, while the bottom eight teams will be eliminated.
The PUBG Global Championship 2023 Grand Finals will be a three-day affair. A total of 18 matches will be staged to determine the winner of Grand Finals and will be declared the 2023 Season World Champion.

PUBG Global Championship 2023 prize pool
The PUBG Global Championship 2023 has a total prize pool of $2 million USD.
The winner of the marquee eSports tournament will receive a cash prize of $600,000 USD.
The second and third-placed teams will get $280,000 USD and $160,000 USD, respectively.
