The Modern Warfare 3 Esports World Cup 2024 will start on August 15 and run till August 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Organised by Esports World Cup Foundation and ESL FACEIT Group, the Modern Warfare 3 Esports World Cup will be the first-ever Esports World Cup that will witness 16 teams from different eSports organisations from around the world.

Earlier in June, Modern Warfare 3 was announced as part of the Esports World Cup 2024 line-up.

The Modern Warfare 3 Esports World Cup 2024 will be held in two phases - Group Stage and Playoffs.

As per the group stage format, these 16 participating teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each. Matches will be played in a best-of-five GSL format.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.

The Modern Warfare 3 Esports World Cup 2024 playoffs will be held in a best-of-five single elimination format, except the Grand Final which will be in a best-of-seven series.

The Modern Warfare 3 Esports World Cup 2024 will take place in Boulevard Riyadh City.

The Modern Warfare 3 Esports World Cup 2024 has a total prize pool of USD 1.8 million.

The winner of the eSports tournament will receive a cash prize of USD 600,000 while the runner-up will get USD 320,000.

The third and fourth-placed teams will receive USD 160,000 each.
