Live streaming, MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 to begin on June 28: Where to watch - get schedule, teams and format

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s newly-rebranded MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 was announced as part of the Esports World Cup 2024 line-up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Organised by game developer Moonton in collaboration with Esports World Cup Foundation, as many as 23 top professional teams will compete in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024.

Also known as MSC, the new MLBB international championship will replace the old MLBB Southeast Asia Cup. 

The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 is now the second international in-season major. It also marks the game's first official international major hosted outside Southeast Asia.

MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 dates and format

The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 will be staged in three phases - Wildcard, Group Stage and Playoffs. 

The Wildcard phase will start on June 28 and run till June 30. The eight teams qualified will be divided into two groups. These teams will clash against each other in a best-of-one format games to top their respective groups. The top team from each group will compete in the finals to book their place in the main stage of the tournament.

The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 Group Stage will commence on July 3 and conclude on July 7. 

As many as 16 teams will be split into four groups of four. Matches will be staged in a single round-robin format to be played in a best-of-two series.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage while the bottom two teams will be eliminated.

The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 Playoffs will take place from July 10-14. Eight teams will compete in a single elimination bracket. All matches will be in a best-of-five format except the Grand Final which will be held in a best-of-seven format.

MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 prize pool

The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 has a total prize pool of $3 million, which is the highest prize pool for any MLBB tournament.

The winner of the marquee tournament will receive a cash prize of $1 million while the runner-up will get $500,000.
