The League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals will start on August 19 and run till September 10 in Montpellier, France.
As many as six European teams will compete for the League of Legends EMEA Championship Season Finals 2023 to decide EMEA's representatives at the most highly-regarded international League of Legends esports tournament.
League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals teams
G2 Esports, MAD Lions, Team BDS, Excel Esports, SK Gaming and Fnatic are the six teams that will participate in the League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals.
G2 Esports, MAD Lions, Excel Esports, and Team BDS will begin in the upper bracket, while SK Gaming and Fnatic will feature in the lower bracket.
League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals format
The League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals will be held in a double-elimination bracket. The seedings of the six participating teams will be determined by the total championship points amassed.
A total of eight matches will be played in a best-of-five series in the LEC 2023 Season Finals.
The top three teams will qualify for the League of Legends World Championship 2023.
The fourth-placed team will advance to the League of Legends Worlds Qualifying Series where they will face the fourth-placed side from the LCS 2023 Summer Split Playoffs in a best-of-five. The winner of that match will qualify for the League of Legends World Championship 2023 as well.

League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals prize pool
The League of Legends LEC 2023 Season Finals has a total prize pool of €160,000 EUR. The winner will be awarded a prize money of €65,000, while the second-placed team will receive €40,000. The third-placed team will get a sum of €25,000.
