Global Esports (GE) has announced the Global Esports Academy for both Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Valorant named GE Fighting Academy.

Taking to Twitter, Global Esports founder Rushindra Sinha made the announcement on December 18.

As per the tweet, Global Esports is looking for five BGMI and Valorant players from India who are ready to dedicate 12 to 18 months to compete in the title of their choice.

Meanwhile, Global Esports will provide the selected players with all the necessary resources, facilities, and training to become the best possible competitive athletes. However, the shortlisted players are unlikely to be given any salary.

The only requirement to be selected for the academy program is "Hunger To Win".

Global Esports Academy requirements

Global Esports founder Rushindra Sinha has not mentioned any game-related requirements to be selected for GE Fighting Academy for Valorant and BGMI. However, here are a few general requirements which the aspiring gamers should keep in mind before applying.

  • Aspiring athletes must be ready to dedicate about 12 to 18 months to esports.
  • The players should not prioritise earning a salary.
  • Players applying for the academy program must try to become the best possible competitive athletes that the Indian esports ecosystem has ever seen.
  • Selected players will be provided with all the necessary resources, facilities, and training to become the best eSports athletes
  • Global Esports assures both money and fame provided the selected players put in the effort

How to Apply for Global Esports Academy?

Here are the few steps that must be taken to apply for  Global Esports Academy (BGMI and Valorant):

  • Players who are interested must visit the registration website
  • They must fill a simple form that requires basic information like full name, age, game, peak rank, in-game user ID, city, mobile number, email ID, passport availability, and relocation request.
  • After filling, they need to submit the form

Interestingly, more than 10,000 registrations were submitted in the first 24 hours.
