One of the biggest esports events of the year, the Gamers8 2023 Rocket League will start on August 24 and conclude on August 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Organised by the Electronic Sports League in collaboration with the Saudi Esports Federation, the Gamers8 2023 Rocket League tournament will feature 24 teams from across six regions.
The Gamers8 2023 Rocket League will be hosted at the Boulevard Riyadh City.
Gamers8 2023 Rocket League format
As many as 24 teams will take part in the Gamers8 2023 Rocket League tournament. These 24 teams have been divided into four groups of six teams each and will compete in the double elimination bracket.
All matches will be held in a best-of-five series with alternating Game Modes. The teams will pick which players represent them in the games. The order of the games are as follows:
- Game 1: 3v3
- Game 2: The loser of Game 1 picks from 1v1 or 2v2 Game Mode
- Game 3: 3v3
- Game 4: The Game Mode will be the one that has not been chosen in Game 2
- Game 5: 3v3
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Playoffs, which means in total eight teams will advance to the Playoffs.
The Gamers8 2023 Rocket League Playoffs will be contested in a single elimination bracket. All matches will be in a best-of-seven series format with alternating Game Modes. The teams will select which players represent them in the games. The order of the games are as follows:
- Game 1: 3v3
- Game 2: The loser of Game 1 picks from 1v1 or 2v2 Game Mode
- Game 3: 3v3
- Game 4: The Game Mode will be the one that has not been chosen in Game 2
- Game 5: 3v3
- Game 6: The loser of Game 5 picks from 1v1 or 2v2 Game Mode
- Game 7: 3v3

Gamers8 2023 Rocket League teams prize pool
The Gamers8 2023 Rocket League has a total prize pool of $2,000,000 USD, while the winner will be rewarded with a prize money of $500,000 USD.
The second-placed team will receive $300,000 USD and the third and fourth-placed teams will get a prize money of $200,000 USD.
