The Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 tournament will start on February 19 and run till February 25 in Kazan, Russia.

Organised by the All-Russian Federation of Phygital Sports, as many as the world’s 16 best teams from around the world will compete in the lucrative Dota 2 Games of the Future.

The marquee Dota 2 eSports tournament will be hosted at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 schedule, dates and format

The Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 tournament will be staged in two phases - group stage and playoffs.

These participating teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each. The group stage will be held in a modified GSL format from February 19-20. All matches will be in a best-of-three series.

The top team from each group will advance to the quarter-finals of the playoffs while the second and third-placed teams from each group will advance to Round 1 of the playoffs. The bottom-placed team from each group will be eliminated.

The Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 playoffs will be held in a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be in a best-of-three series.

Two teams from the Phygital Games and 14 invited will participate in the Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 tournament. Here are the 16 participating teams.

Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 prize pool

The Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 tournament has a total prize pool of a whopping $1 million USD.

The winner of the Dota 2 competition will receive a cash prize of $350,000 USD.

The second and third-placed teams will get $160,000 USD and $120,000 USD, respectively.
