Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is one of the most popular battle royale games in India.

Developed and published by South Korean video game company Krafton, BGMI is an online multiplayer battle royale game that was first released for Android devices on July 2, 2021. It was later launched for iOS users on August 18, 2021.

While BGMI has over 100 million downloads on Google Play store, it was banned by the Indian government in July 2022 citing security concerns. The ban was later removed in May 2023.

As many as 100 gamers can compete in the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. The one who survives in the TPP-FPP survival shooter game is the winner. Individuals or a team of up to four gamers can play a match in BGMI.

The popular eSports video game, BGMI can be played as solo, duo, or squad. To make the game more interesting, gamers may add teammates to compete as a duo or a squad. 

Meanwhile, the BGMI offers a variety of weapons that gamers can use to eliminate all other opponents. These weapons in BGMI bear a resemblance to their real-life counterparts.

AWM

The Arctic Warfare Magnum (AWM) is considered to be the most powerful weapon in BGMI. Known to be an exclusive airdrop weapon, AWM has the ability to kill an enemy wearing a Level 3 helmet with a single headshot.

AMR

Lynx Anti Material Rifle (AMR) is one of the newly-introduced Bolt Action Rifles in BGMI. It is only found in air drops and uses the .50 Browning Machine Gun (BMG) ammunition. AMR is also extremely lethal as one shot in the body or head is enough to knock down or finish an enemy. The only disadvantage of using the AMR is that it features a very high recoil and can be tough to control.

Kar98

The Kar98 is one of the most popular Bolt Action Rifles in BGMI. Kar98 can be discovered with the regular loot and possesses 7.62mm ammunition. Having a high damage dealing capacity, the commonly used gun can eliminate an enemy wearing a Level 2 helmet with one single headshot. It can also be used with 4x, 6x and a 8x scope.

M24

M24 is another Bolt Action Rifle used in BGMI. While it is pretty similar to Kar96, it has a slight decrease in the damage. M24 uses 7.62mm ammunition and is highly effective in mid to long range battles. This Bolt Action Rifle can also eliminate enemies wearing level 2 helmet and armor within 300 meters.
