The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2024 began on August 20 and will conclude on September 29.

The BMPS 2024 will see as many as 128 BGMI teams compete for the coveted title across 40 days.

Organised by Krafton, the BMPS 2024 will be staged in two phases - the League Stage and the Grand Finals.

These participating teams have been divided into two groups - Group Blue and Group Red. Each of these groups is further split into four smaller groups of 16 teams each.

Each group will compete in six matches in Round 1 of the BMPS 2024 from August 20 till September 5. 

Meanwhile, groups will be reshuffled after the first week, and the process will repeat.

The top 64 teams from the overall standings advance to Round 2.

BMPS 2024 Round 2 will be staged from September 7 to September 10. These 64 qualified teams will be divided into four groups of 16 teams each. 

Each team will play six matches. At the end of Round 2, the top 48 teams from the overall standings will qualify for Round 3.

Round 3 of BMPS is scheduled to take place from September 11 to September 14. A total of 48 teams will compete in BMPS 2024 Round 3 across four matchdays.

These teams will be split into three groups of 16 teams each. Groups will be reshuffled after two days.

Each team will play a total of eight matches in Round 3. The top 24 teams from the overall standings will progress to the BMPS 2024 semi-finals.

BMPS 2024 semi-finals will see as many as 24 teams compete from September 15-18. These qualified teams will be divided into three groups of eight teams each. Matches will be staged in a double round-robin format.

Each team will compete in a total of 16 matches, four matches on each matchday. The top 16 teams from the overall standings will qualify for the Grand Finals.

The initial four stages of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2024 will be held online while the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will take place in Kochi.

The BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will be a three-day affair from September 27-29. All the 16 finalists will play a total of 18 matches, six matches on each matchday to determine the winner.

The team placed at the top of the standings after all the matches will clinch the BMPS 2024 title.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series Season 3 has a total prize pool of a whopping INR 2 crore. The BMPS 2024 winner will bag a cash prize of INR 75 lakh while the runner-up will receive INR 30 lakh.

The third and fourth-placed teams will get INR 20 lakh and INR 12.5 lakh, respectively.

Blind eSports clinched the previous edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series in 2023 while Team SouL won the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2022.
