After the conclusion of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2024 semi-finals, the highly-anticipated BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will start on September 27.

Organised by Krafton, Tesseract Esports and Skyesports, the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will see as many as 16 Battlegrounds Mobile India teams compete in a three-day affair that will conclude on September 29.

The BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will be staged at the Adlux International Convention Center in Kochi.

Blind eSports won the previous edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series in 2023 while Team SouL were the inaugural champions of the tournament in 2022.

BMPS 2024 Grand Finals dates and format

The BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will start on September 27 and run till September 29. 

As per the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals format, each team will play 18 matches, six matches on every matchday. 

The team that finishes at the top spot of the points table will be crowned BMPS 2024 winner.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2024 has been held in two phases - League Stage and the Grand Finals.

A total of 128 teams participated in the BMPS 2024. These participating teams were earlier divided into two groups - Group Blue and Group Red. Each of these groups was further split into four smaller groups of 16 teams each.

Each group competed in six matches in Round 1 of the BMPS 2024 from August 20 till September 5. 

Meanwhile, groups were reshuffled after the first week, and the process repeated. The top 64 teams from the overall standings advanced to Round 2.

BMPS 2024 Round 2 was staged from September 7 to September 10. These 64 qualified teams were divided into four groups of 16 teams each. 

Each team played six matches. At the end of Round 2, the top 48 teams from the overall standings qualified for Round 3.

Round 3 of BMPS took place from September 11 to September 14. A total of 48 teams competed in BMPS 2024 Round 3 across four matchdays.

These teams were split into three groups of 16 teams each. Groups were reshuffled after two days.

Each team played a total of eight matches in Round 3. The top 24 teams from the overall standings progressed to the BMPS 2024 semi-finals.

BMPS 2024 semi-finals saw as many as 24 teams compete from September 15-18. These qualified teams were divided into three groups of eight teams each. Matches were staged in a double round-robin format.

Each team competed in a total of 16 matches, four matches on each matchday. The top 16 teams from the overall standings qualified for the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals.

The BMPS 2024 Grand Finals has a total prize pool of a whopping INR 2 crore.

The winner of the marquee BGMI tournament will receive INR 75 lakh while the runner-up will bag INR 30 lakh.
