The BGMI Master Series Season 3 began on July 19 and will run till August 11 in New Delhi.
Organised by Nodwin Gaming in collaboration with Star Sports, the BGMI Master Series Season 3 is witnessing as many as 24 Battlegrounds Mobile India teams compete in one of India’s biggest eSports events.
The BGMS Season 3 is being held at the Nodwin Gaming Arena in New Delhi.
BGMI Master Series Season 3 schedule and format
The BGMI Master Series Season 3 will be staged in four stages - Opening Week, League Week, Playoffs and the Finals.
In the initial phase of the marquee BGMI tournament, the Opening Week was held from July 19-21 as a total of 24 teams participated.
These participating teams were divided into six groups of four teams each. A total of six matches were played with each team competing in four matches.
The top 18 teams from overall standings advanced to the League Week, which will be staged from July 22 to August 4.
Furthermore, two of the bottom six rosters for the League Week were selected by fan voting.
The BGMI Master Series Season 3 League Week has been divided into two phases - Survival and Domination.
The Survival Week was held from July 22-28 with 20 teams split into five groups of four teams each. Matches were staged in a round-robin format across seven matchdays with each team competing in 12 matches.
The Domination Week will be held from July 29 to August 4 with a similar format as the Survival Week.
The top four teams from the league standings will qualify for the BGMI Master Series Season 3 Finals while the fifth to 20th ranked teams will move to the Playoffs.
The Playoffs will see a total of six matches played on August 6-7 with the top 12 teams qualifying for the Finals.
The BGMI Master Series Season 3 will witness as many as 16 teams battle for the coveted title to be staged at the Nodwin Gaming Arena in Delhi from August 9-11.

The BGMI Master Series Season 3 has a total prize pool of a whopping INR 1 crore, which is one of the largest prize pools for a non-publisher competition.
