After the release of its 3.2 update at the end of May, Battlegrounds Mobile India players are waiting with high anticipation for the release of the new BGMI 3.3 update.
BGMI developer Krafton is known to roll out a major update every couple of months. All BGMI updates are based on a certain theme and prominent changes are made to its classic mode while new features are also introduced.
The BGMI 3.2 update that was released in May 2024 focused mostly on optimising online multiplayer battle royale game's performance while improving in gameplay, frame rates and also reducing lag on lower-end devices, in particular.
Furthermore, changes to weapon balance were seen, meaning there were adjustments in specific weapons to guarantee a more stabilised and competitive gameplay experience.
The features from the last BGMI updates were well received by fans and have them eagerly awaiting the new update, which is expected to be released soon.
But when exactly will the new update be made? Well, that’s the question on every BGMI enthusiast’s mind and here we have a look at a possible BGMI 3.3 update release date and new features.
BGMI 3.3 update release date and new features
The BGMI 3.3 update release date is expected to be sometime around the last week of July, which is more than a month from now.
Generally, BGMI has a new update released after every couple of months with its previous one taking place on May 29.
Keeping that in mind, it is only logical for fans to expect the BGMI 3.3 update release date to be somewhere between 25th to 27th July. That said, it is worth noting that there has been no official confirmation regarding the same yet.
Looking at some of the new features for the BGMI 3.3 update, it’s safe to say that fans will not be disappointed with what is expected.
Among many new features expected in the BGMI 3.3 update, perhaps the most important one for players will be its 120 FPS Support.
The 120 FPS or Frames Per Second is quite self-explanatory in nature. The new update will allow players to enjoy the game in a more smooth fashion even if their phone doesn’t have the best support system to help enable the same.
While players who already have a phone that supports 120 fps can play the game by selecting the 120 fps option in BGMI, others who don’t can look forward to smooth gameplay after the 3.3. update.
Another exciting new feature is BGMi’s Self-Revive Kit, which will be available at numerous places on the map. Hence, if you are knocked down somewhere with no teammates near you, this new feature will allow you to revive yourself by using the kit.
The Magnetic Gun will also set pulses racing among BGMI enthusiasts since it will let one throw the enemy or any other objects away from you.
The Mecha Fusion Mode makes for an interesting feature as well. It lets you see two robots in the game's lobby, which you can control and fuse to form a bigger robot.
BGMI 3.3 update is also expected to have a Repair Station in special locations on the map to help you customize and upgrade your robots.
Sticking to the theme of robots, the new update may also let you combine two mecha robots to create a huge robot known as the War Machine.
The War Machine can give you high-grade top-level weapons and armoury besides also helping you run at very fast speeds.
Lastly, a Jetpack feature is also expected in the upcoming update to help you fly solo in the sky. With such exciting features expected in the new update, it is no wonder why BGMI fans can’t wait for the latest update release date to be announced.
