Battlegrounds Mobile India players are eagerly waiting for the release of the new BGMI 3.3 update.
BGMI developer Krafton has launched a major update every two months. Each BGMI update is based on a certain theme. Additionally, notable changes are made to classic mode and new features are introduced.
The latest BGMI 3.2 update in India was released with the Mecha Fusion Theme Mode, inspired by Mecha warfare on May 29. The update was initially scheduled to be launched on May 22 but was later delayed due to unknown reasons.
The BGMI 3.2 update introduced the Steel Ark, a futuristic warship appearing mid-air. It contains a Summoning Platform and it offers heavy loot. It also has a Command Room where players can hack into the ship’s systems for a fun easter egg.
Gamers can control Arma Mech Vehicles that switch between a Speed Form for rapid movement and a Magnetic Form for grabbing objects & enemies. These Mechs can launch missiles, fly and transform into portable devices.
Assembly Base on the map provides Mech Repair Stations and treasure chest detectors for strengthening mech, refuelling, and uncovering hidden items.
The latest update also introduced an updated WOW mode to the game. The updated WOW mode includes new maps and playstyles.
The BGMI 3.2 update that was released in May focused mostly on optimising online multiplayer battle royale game's performance while improving in gameplay, frame rates and also reducing lag on lower-end devices, in particular.
Furthermore, changes to weapon balance were seen, meaning there were adjustments in specific weapons to guarantee a more stabilised and competitive gameplay experience.
The features from the last BGMI updates were well received by fans and have them eagerly awaiting the new update, which is expected to be released soon.

BGMI 3.3 update release date in India
The BGMI 3.3 update is expected to be released in India on July 18, 2024, as per the renowned BGMI creator, Classified YT. However, developer Krafton is yet to provide an official confirmation on the BGMI 3.3 update release date in India.
Looking at some of the new features for the BGMI 3.3 update, it’s safe to say that fans will not be disappointed with what is expected.
As per leaks, the upcoming BGMI 3.3 update will be based on the Sunken City of Atlantis.
Apart from the new Atlantis Mode, the BGMI 3.3 update will bring in a new mode - Ocean Odyssey mode will be added to three maps - Erangle, Livik and Sanhok. The new hotspot in this mode will be the underwater city, “Ocean Palace”, which will be located in Novorepnoy and Water City.
If gamers want to try the new mode, they need to select the Ocean Oddassy theme mode and jump on one of the Ocean Palaces according to their flying path.
It is recommended for the players to be fast and loot the weapons in order to get the latest “Trident” that will offer high-level loot with four recall cards.
After eliminating all the enemies, players can exit from the Ocean Palace with the help of multiple water tunnels.
Furthermore, new weapons will be included in the BGMI 3.3 update named the Trident. The new weapons will be available only in the Ocean Palace.
Players can discharge ambitious attacks on their enemies with the help of the Trident. It has numerous powers including the ability to levitate opponents in the air and can also create a circle that will injure the enemies in that circle. Additionally, Trident can bring rain and tornadoes upon hitting the ground.
The BGMI 3.3 update will also add the Forsaken Ruins in five different locations. Gamers need to complete some tasks to unlock these places.
Another water blaster mode will be included in the upcoming update. Gamers can find the water blaster randomly produced on the map.
The BGMI 3.3 update could also feature the Whale Escape Pod where gamers can summon a whale and later sit on the whale to escape to the zone. This pod is also spawned randomly on the map.
The leaks have also revealed players can fly in the BGMI 3.3 update with the help of Flying StingRay. These randomly spawned StingRay fishes can be discovered as part of the ground loot which will offer another tactical gameplay.
